The room, though basic, was surprisingly warm thanks to the thick stone walls, providing a cool respite during the warm days of our trek along the Via Francigena. We particularly enjoyed the terrace, which offered a stunning view of the picturesque countryside and the charming town of Monteriggioni, making for a perfect setting to unwind after our daily explorations. The simple yet exquisitely executed food from the restaurant added to our culinary experience, alongside the outstanding service that truly surpassed any expectations we had. The Ostello not only provided a comfortable resting place but also an enriching experience that highlighted the region's beauty and hospitality.
